Conference Description |
Who Should Attend |
|
The mission of the Collective Biodiesel Conference is to provide a mechanism for information sharing between members of the biodiesel community. The conference is different from other industry meetings in that it is a non-profit event geared at active and open collaboration among the participants. Like other conferences, the Collective Biodiesel Conference features a three-day schedule packed with open-forums and lectures. Unlike other events, this content is aimed to provide sufficient detail for participants to put what they learn, both technical and logistical, into action. In this spirit, the conference also features multiple sessions showcasing "case studies" from active biodiesel co-ops. Participants welcomed range from backyard chemists to well-established biodiesel co-operatives and community-scale producers. Past conference venues include the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO and American University in Washington, DC. |
You'll find this conference valuable if you are:
-->
Enthusiasts investigating biodiesel and considering making it at home
Entrepreneurs considering starting a small biodiesel business in production or distribution
Homebrewers who want to learn more or who are thinking of scaling up
Biodiesel Co-op Members who want to learn from other co-ops and clubs
Small Producers/Distributors who want to network with other small producers/distributors |
